Surface FAQ

Have questions about technical details, curing times, or installation preparation? Read our expert answers below.

Yes, absolutely. Engineered hardwood is highly stable and perfectly compatible with underfloor heating systems, provided the surface temperature of the subfloor does not exceed 27°C. Solid timber can also be used but requires strict moisture controls and specific board widths. We advise full-surface elastic bonding to optimize heat conductivity.
A standard microcement installation takes approximately 5 to 7 days. This includes substrate preparation, applying the reinforcement mesh, hand-troweling multiple layers of cement polymer base and fine coats, sanding, and applying three layers of protective polyurethane sealer. Curing takes an additional 24-48 hours before light foot traffic is allowed.
We use advanced industrial dust collectors that connect directly to our sanding machines. These systems utilize multi-stage HEPA filtration, capturing 99.8% of airborne timber dust particles before they escape into your home. This means no messy cleanup, no dusty walls, and a completely clean, breathable indoor air climate during and after sanding.
Yes. Metallic epoxy provides a striking, high-gloss liquid marble look that is popular in modern open-plan residential spaces, hallways, and high-end home garages. It is incredibly durable, chemical-resistant, and completely seamless. We apply a final polyurethane top-coat to protect against scratches and UV yellowing, ensuring longevity.
Microcement surfaces should be cleaned using water and neutral soaps (pH 7). Avoid harsh acidic descalers, bleach, or abrasive pads, which can damage the polyurethane protective sealant. For high-traffic floors, applying an occasional acrylic wax treatment every 6-12 months will keep the sealing coat protected and looking like new.
